Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Senior Response Manager to lead SOAR and Detection-as-Code initiatives in the Home Office CSOC. This hybrid role in Sheffield requires planning, building and operating incident detection, containment and remediation capabilities, and coordinating readiness activities across teams.

You will advise product owners on mitigations, drive automation improvements and help standardise security practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Security Operations Centre environment with incident response duties.
• Designing and improving security automation using playbooks and DaC methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication across diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to build partnerships across tech teams and suppliers.
• Experience leading a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and run capabilities to detect, contain and remediate incidents.
• Support readiness through exercises and red team activities.
