Job summary

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist (Respiratory) to join a well-established Band 6 Respiratory Rotation. You will work across Trust-wide settings, developing specialist respiratory skills and contributing to quality improvement and service development.

Applicants should be Chartered Physiotherapists with HCPC registration, NHS rotation experience, and a commitment to CPD.

Qualifications

• Chartered Physiotherapist with HCPC registration and NHS rotation experience in core physio areas including respiratory.
• Excellent time management, organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to participate in seven-day working on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of physiotherapy care to a complex patient group on each rotation.
• Participate in the Senior Physiotherapy respiratory rotational scheme across the Trust in various clinical settings.
• Senior rotational posts aim to consolidate skills and academic knowledge and develop specialist clinical and managerial competencies.
