A healthcare organization in Basildon seeks an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join the Critical Care and Respiratory team. The role includes patient intervention in critical care, assessments, and effective caseload management. Candidates must be HCPC registered and have experience in respiratory and critical care. Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.
We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.
Job overview
This role allows an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Critical Care and Respiratory team, who have wide ranging clinical experience, good communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient-centred care.
Join our friendly and supportive team of therapists, where continuous professional development, research and quality improvement processes are encouraged. There is a well-established in-service education programme, where you can build upon your clinical and managerial skills with support from senior clinical leads.
Candidates will be expected to join and partake in our overnight emergency on call rota and weekend working rotas and previous experience of working within respiratory / Critical Care field is essential. You will also be expected to work as part of a seven day rota.
