Main duties of the job

As a Senior Respiratory Physiologist, you will:

• Perform respiratory investigations, including lung function tests, in an outpatient setting
• Step in as Deputy for the Lead Physiologist when required, managing staff allocations based on departmental needs
• Mentor and train junior staff to help them grow in their roles
• Assist in maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory standards
• Ensure that patient experience and well-being are always prioritized

Qualifications

• Be a trained physiologist with a degree level qualification or equivalent
• ARTP Part 2 certification
• RCCP registration

Experience

• Be experienced in performing various respiratory assessments, such as Spirometry, lung volumes, helium dilution, and Plethysmography
• Hold an ARTP Part 1 certification
• Be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
