Job Title: Senior Residential Youth Worker

We are recruiting 4 highly ambitious and qualified Senior Residential Youth Workers to join our client's successful and experienced staff team at a children’s residential care home in Sheffield.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ideally, candidates will have at least 6 months of experience in a similar setting.
• Must have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a qualification of similar or higher standing.

Role Overview:

You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. We require individuals who possess confidence, understanding, patience, and the skills to work effectively with young people and positively impact their lives.

This position involves providing guidance, interaction, and support to children and young adults within residential care, aiming to create a safe environment that addresses their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting children and young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping.

Additional Information:

• Must complete an enhanced DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
• Required to complete a paid five-day training program.
