Senior Residential Care Worker

Locations: Plymouth, Somerset, Cornwall

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (including sleep-in shifts on a rota)

Responsibilities
  • Be a role model for young people, supporting them through life's challenges.
  • Lead and support a team of care staff, keeping the home positive, safe, and inspiring.
  • Create fun, meaningful routines and activities that help young people grow.
  • Make sure care plans are followed so every child gets the right support.
  • Take the lead on shift including sleep-in shifts making sure everything runs smoothly.
Qualifications
  • A natural leader who's friendly, positive, and calm under pressure.
  • Experience in residential childcare (or similar) with at least 12 months in a supervisory role.
  • Someone who can communicate, motivate, and inspire others.
  • A full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Either already has (or is keen to work towards) a Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People Workforce.
