A leading charity is seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker for a new home opening in July 2025. The role involves supporting young people aged 6-11 with emotional and behavioral difficulties, providing mentorship and engaging in various activities. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and at least two years of relevant experience. Job Title: Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: Keighley, BD22
Salary: £30,163 – £31,668 per annum (plus approx. £4,000 sleep-in payments annually)
Working Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week on average
Hourly Rate: Dependent on salary and shifts
Number of Sleeps Required: 1–2 per week
Pay Per Sleep: £50 per sleep-in
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs (Young People) aged 6–11 with EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties), Trauma, Neglect, CSE
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
Experience in Years Required: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role in an Ofsted registered children’s home

You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.
You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care – this is not deemed equivalent.
You have only worked in HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or as a Nursery Practitioner.
You require sponsorship – Sponsorship is not available.
Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
