Young Foundations is seeking a compassionate and patient carer to join Amisfield House in Scotland. The role focuses on putting the needs of children and young people first, providing encouragement, structure and positive role modelling to those with autism and learning difficulties.
You will work within a supportive team to help develop communication, social and independence skills while safeguarding and promoting welfare.
Hours of Week: 40 Contract Type: Permanent
Amisfield House caters for children and young people who have autism, severe and complex learning difficulties and who exhibit associated behaviours that challenge.
Our aim is to support children and young people to develop a wide range of skills, such as communication, social and independence skills in an environment that offers warmth, security, consistency and understanding. The children and young people are supported to do this by a range of highly skilled staff that ensure all children and young people experience a broad range of different opportunities, and that every child or young person enjoys their childhood.
