Job summary

TSR Legal, in partnership with an established law firm, is looking for a Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer to join its busy property team in the Birmingham area.

You will handle a broad range of residential property matters, from instruction to completion, including freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages and transfers of equity. The role requires managing your own caseload with proactive client communication and strict attention to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Experience managing your own caseload.
• Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing for freehold and leasehold matters.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions.
• Dealing with matters from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion.
• Handling freehold and leasehold transactions, sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
• Keeping clients updated and ensuring transactions progress in a timely manner.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Contributing to the smooth running and development of the wider property team.
