Role: Senior Residential Conveyancer

Salary: £35,000 to £46,000

Location: Derby (with hybrid working potential after probation)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

With a strong reputation for innovation and technological expertise, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Property Lawyer to advance their career while managing a diverse caseload in a supportive and dynamic environment.

The Role:

Shape the Future of Conveyancing in the Midlands. As a Senior Property Lawyer, you will manage a varied caseload of property transactions, ensuring smooth progression and exceptional client service. Working within a collaborative team, you will play a crucial role in meeting individual and team performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Caseload Management: Handle a diverse portfolio of sales and purchase transactions, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership properties.
  2. Client Communication: Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, team members, and other professionals via phone, email, and meetings.
  3. System Utilisation: Navigate the bespoke in-house case management system to progress files efficiently and maintain accurate records.
  4. Performance Targets: Achieve individual and team KPIs and SLAs, ensuring all transactions meet high standards and referrer requirements.
  5. Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including AML regulations and CQS standards.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Experience: At least 2 years in a conveyancing fee earner role.
  2. Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of conveyancing transactions, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership.
  3. System Proficiency: Experience with MS Office, Case Management Systems, Land Registry Portal, and Online SDLT submissions.
  4. Communication Skills: Confidence in client and professional interactions.
  5. Organisation: Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines effectively.
  6. Knowledge: Demonstrable understanding of conveyancing legislation and best practices.
