Job summary

ABC Care and Education in Carnforth is seeking a Senior Residential Children’s Support Worker to join our caring home team. The role includes supporting the Registered Manager, taking on senior duties and leading shifts, and contributing to care planning and quality monitoring.

You should have Level 4 in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (or working towards it) and relevant experience. We offer a competitive salary, full induction, ongoing training, and an employee assistance

Qualifications

• Experience working in residential children’s care.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident in leading shifts as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Registered Manager and the Deputy Manager daily.
• Taking on senior duties and leading shifts.
• Contributing to care planning, recording, and quality monitoring.
• Supporting and mentoring staff.
