A leading company in child care is seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Worker to ensure the well-being and development of children aged 7 to 17 in a supportive environment. This role involves managing care plans, supervising staff, and ensuring the fulfillment of children's needs through a nurturing and structured approach. Ideal candidates will have Level 3 qualifications in Children Residential and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with a passion for improving the lives of young people.
Job Title: Senior Residential Childcare Worker
Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire, DE55
Salary: £33K DOE - This is inclusive of up to 3 sleeps per month, additional sleeps are paid at £50 per sleep. Overtime available to increase salary if required.
Shifts: Over Mon - Sun, includingBH, 40hour per week excluding sleeps
Shift Pattern: 3 Sleep Per Month & Overtime available
Qualifications: Level 3 in Children Residential (or equivalent) or working toward this.
Experience: Min of 1 Years in Residential with Children or Young Adults aged between 4 to 24
UK Driving Licence: Required
The Home: This is in a rural village. The home can accommodate 3 YPs who will be aged 7 to 17 on admission.
Purpose: The Senior Residential Childcare Worker (SRCW) assumes responsibility for ensuring that the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological, and social needs of the children are consistently met to a high standard. The SRCW adheres fully to all statutory and regulatory guidance in conjunction with organizational policies, procedures, and practices. Working under the direction of the management team, the SRCW delivers therapeutic caregiving on a shift pattern, including days, evenings, waking nights (when/if required), weekends, bank holidays, sleeping-in duties, and, subject to risk assessment, lone working.

The organisation's commissioned therapeutic partnership to supports the development of both children and staff teams through direct works and consultations.
