Job summary

Esland Group in Macclesfield is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker for our Blakelow Bank Children's Home. You will contribute to running the home and supporting a young person with care plans and development goals.

The role requires at least 12 months in residential childcare, a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work shifts including sleep-ins. You must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months experience in residential childcare.
• A Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare (or an accepted equivalent).
• A full UK driving licence – essential for transporting young people and attending external meetings.
• A calm, resilient, and compassionate approach to care.
• Be able to work shift patterns including sleep ins (rota given in advance but likely to be 2-on, 4-off).
• Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
