Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd in Macclesfield is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our Residential team at Blakelow Bank. This permanent full-time role offers a competitive salary and the chance to work with children in a dedicated home.

You will build relationships, support care plans, lead on shift, and promote a safe, learning-focused environment. A Level 3 Diploma and a driving licence are required, with sleep-ins part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• 12 months minimum experience in residential childcare.
• Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Calm, resilient and compassionate approach to care.
• Ability to work shifts including sleep-ins.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with children, families and professionals.
• Support care plans and help young people achieve goals.
• Lead by example and support junior colleagues on shift.
