Lancashire County Council is recruiting a Senior Residential Child Care Worker for its Residential Service in Morecambe. You will lead a team of RCCWs, support young people with complex needs, and ensure safeguarding and care plans are implemented effectively.

The role operates on a rota including days, evenings, weekends and sleep-in shifts. A QCF Level 4 or NVQ Level 3/4 is required along with at least 3 years’ experience in children’s social care or residential settings.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years’ experience in children’s social care or residential settings
• Hold a QCF Level 4 or NVQ Level 3/4 (or equivalent)
• Be confident leading shifts and supervising staff as a Team Leader
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children’s legislation
• Resilient, compassionate, and committed to improving outcomes for young people
