The Environmental Change Institute, School of Geography and the Environment, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QY UK, is seeking a Senior Researcher to support the creation of a network of experts, a team of champions, and community projects aimed at providing authoritative advice on the pathway to net zero. This role involves research exploring behaviour change patterns at the intersection of digital technology, academic research, and the transition to net zero, as well as facilitating UKRI’s leadership in this transition. The successful candidate will work with colleagues in the Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Planetary Physics (AOPP) sub-department and Engineering Science, combining rigorous research with hands-on facilitation. The role offers a Research Fellowship within the Oxford Net Zero programme. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant discipline, strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for climate action and systems change. Experience in behaviour change, data analysis, or energy use in computing is highly desirable. This is a fixed-term position until 31 March 2028, offered on a full-time basis.
