Job Description

  • Conduct high-quality research and analysis to inform policy-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain robust analytical frameworks for the evaluation of data.
  • Present research findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support.
  • Monitor and interpret trends relevant to the public sector landscape.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of research projects.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in data handling and research methodologies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Researcher should have:

  • A strong background in research, data analysis, or policy development.
  • Proven skills in interpreting and presenting complex data.
  • Proficiency in research design, including at least one of the following: longitudinal panel, cross sectional, cohort studies and quasi experimental design
  • Practitioner level of research analysis including descriptive statistics, simple statistical testing (T-tests, chi squared), qualitative coding and visualisation of data
  • Experience working in or with the public sector, regulatory bodies or research agencies
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in analytical software and tools
  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
