• Identifying all work streams required for the transfer of the research portfolio, planning and leading the full range of complex programme activities (covering governance, finance, legal, data, laboratories and external relationships & communications), in partnership with Evelina, working closely with the Evelina Research Transition Manager.
• Formulating and adjusting project plans in relation to all activities in response to the changing needs of each clinical trial within the portfolio.
• To project manage the transfer of the portfolio in accordance with the plan on behalf of the Royal Marsden.
• To establish and lead an RM/ICR Paediatric Research Transfer Oversight group covering all aspects of transfer.
• Be responsible for the identification and management of risks and maintaining the associated RM risk log, escalating and developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies as appropriate.
• To be a key member of the RM/Evelina Paediatric Clinical Trials Transition Management Group updating on progress from RM.

At The Royal Marsden we have an immune compromised patient population who we must protect as much as we can against the flu virus. Each year, seasonal flu affects thousands of people in the UK. Occurring mainly in winter, it is an infectious respiratory disease capable of producing symptoms ranging from those similar to a common cold, through to very severe or even fatal disease.
The wellbeing of our staff and patients is of the upmost importance to us, and it is the expectation of The Royal Marsden that all patient-facing staff have an annual flu vaccination, provided free of charge by the Trust.
