An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Research & Development Department to join us as a Senior Research Therapeutic Radiographer/Nurse.
You will be responsible for delivering and managing your own portfolio of academic and commercial research studies, providing expert research support within Oncology research, specifically Radiography, with the expectation to work across all research specialties and support colleagues as needed. This role offers the chance to gain clinical knowledge and skills across various conditions by working closely with consultants, specialist nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
Work with the Research Team to ensure the safe conduct of research according to UK Clinical Trials Regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP), safeguarding trial participants' rights, safety, and well-being.
The post involves coordinating and leading a team in recruiting patients for clinical trials, collaborating with the Radiotherapy Service to provide high-quality, efficient patient care and treatment delivery.
Essential requirements include NMC or HPC registration, post-registration NHS experience, and knowledge of research regulations. Experience in research or radiotherapy is advantageous.
