Job summary

Yoti is seeking a Research Engineer to work on Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning projects within the R&D team. The role is hybrid with a requirement to be in the Aldgate office at least one day per week.

You will research large-scale classification, implement papers, and mentor junior members, with a focus on deploying robust prototypes and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• PhD in the areas of computer vision, machine learning, image processing, or equivalent expertise.
• Strong knowledge of DNN theory and practical experience applying DNN in computer vision.
• Proficiency with Python coding and Git in a team.
• Ability to write clean, well-maintained code and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Research on large-scale classification such as face recognition, verification and face anti-spoofing using deep learning.
• Data preparation and preprocessing for training deep learning models; optimize training speed.
• Implement academic papers into functional prototypes and mentor junior team members.
