Job summary

Adria Solutions is seeking an AI Software Engineer – Machine Vision in Huddersfield, offering hybrid/remote options. You will design, implement and optimise software using C++, C#, and Python to build practical machine vision applications.

You will evaluate models, prepare data, integrate AI into pipelines and improve performance, with emphasis on reliability, speed and maintainability across the software stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software using C++, C# and Python, selecting the appropriate language for each component.
• Develop, evaluate and improve machine vision models and image-processing algorithms.
• Prepare and validate image datasets for model training and testing.
• Integrate AI models into software applications and processing pipelines.
• Investigate model accuracy, inference speed, memory usage and application performance.
• Develop automated tests for software components and AI functionality.
• Diagnose issues involving image quality, model behaviour and software integration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to translate application requirements into working solutions.
• Document technical decisions, evaluation results and implementation details.
