Insight Manager – Customer & Market Insight
Location: Solihull (2 days per week in office)
Salary: Up to £55,000 + 1% performance bonus (recent payouts £1,700–£3,000)

The Role
This newly created position sits within the Group Marketing function and reports into the Head of Insight. You’ll play a key role in developing a consistent and commercial understanding of the business's customer base, to support brand, digital, and proposition teams. This is a strategic, insight-led role focused on driving customer-first decision making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• - Build a comprehensive understanding of customer behaviours, needs, and segments.
• - Prioritise insight work based on commercial value and strategic goals.
• - Design and commission qualitative and quantitative research projects.
• - Identify knowledge gaps in customer data and generate actionable insight.
• - Develop personas, customer journeys, and insight-led narratives.
• - Deliver findings through engaging formats – presentations, decks, short videos, etc.
• - Maintain competitor and market intelligence.
• - Manage research agency relationships and insight project delivery.
• - Work cross-functionally with analytics, brand, content, product, and media teams.
Skills & Experience
• - Strong grasp of consumer behaviour and segmentation techniques.
• - Experience commissioning and running qualitative and quantitative research.
• - Familiarity with tools like Excel for basic data analysis and trend tracking.
• - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• - Ability to align insight with commercial and strategic goals.
• - Client-side experience ; financial services background a bonus but not essential.
