Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a Research Engineer for a global leader in semiconductor AI. You will work on advanced ML technologies including large language models, reinforcement learning, optimisation, and generative AI to help shape AI-enabled semiconductor design and systems.

You will bridge research and implementation, collaborating with leading AI experts to deliver practical software and tooling, and contribute to experimental pipelines and technical reports.

Qualifications

• PhD with at least 2+ years of post‑doc or research experience.
• Publications at top ML/NLP conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, EMNLP, ICCV).
• Experience with LLMs, RL, optimisation, or generative AI.
• Experience developing research infrastructure or ML tooling.
• Knowledge of distributed training, GPU computing, or CUDA.
• Exposure to semiconductor technologies, chip design, or applied AI research.
• Commercial or research experience implementing ML algorithms.
• Strong programming skills in Python; C++ experience advantageous.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or similar DL frameworks.

Responsibilities
