A prestigious educational institution in the United Kingdom seeks a part-time Senior Research Associate/Research Associate to facilitate palliative care research. The role involves supporting research groups and preparing grant applications. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and experience in palliative care. The Division of Health Research (DHR) within Lancaster University's Faculty of Health and Medicine is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Associate/Research Associate to work as part of the International Observatory on End of Life Care in conjunction with the Palliative Care Research Network North West.
You will play a key role in facilitating palliative care research across the North West to support the Palliative Care Research Network North West. You will work with Professor Catherine Walshe and colleagues from the steering committee of the Palliative Care Research Network North West. Your responsibilities will include facilitating the work of several research development groups, supporting their meetings, and assisting in the preparation of grants for competitive research funding.
You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work alongside a range of staff and stakeholders from across the Northwest.
