Job description

We seek an experienced and highly motivated Senior Research Associate to join the Milner Therapeutics Institute (MTI) at the University of Cambridge, based at the Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

As a Senior Research Associate, you will provide scientific and operational leadership for the UK-based team for the the UK-ROK Collaboration on Engineering Biology and AI for Gene and Cell Therapy, an international research programme funded until March 2029. You will work closely with the Group Leader and Head of Research to coordinate collaborative research across the University of Cambridge, Korean research organisations, and industry and clinical partners.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in a relevant specialist subject and have substantial postdoctoral experience as well as experience in AI, computational biology, bioinformatics, engineering biology, gene or cell therapy, or a closely related field relevant to the programme.
