Job Description:

Main duties and responsibilities:

To work on our new CPU/GPU Satellite Modem project, funded by the European Space Agency, in collaboration with Global Invacom. In this project, you will work with a team of researchers in the 6G Cognitive Networking Laboratory to research and develop a software DVB-S2X/DVB-RCS2 Satellite Modem based on Software Defined Radio technology.

Skills and experience required:
  • Understanding of digital communications systems.
  • Experience in Matlab, Linux, C/C++, and Python.
  • Experience with DVB/Satellite modems, SDRs, and radio transceivers is desirable but not required.
Qualifications required:
  • Degree at a minimum of 2:2 (or equivalent level 6 qualification), or higher in a relevant discipline.
  • Master's or equivalent level 7 qualification is desirable.
