The opportunity:

This is an interesting Business Intelligence opportunity for a Senior Research Analyst to join a global commodities specialist who supports major international companies, industry associations, and governments in making informed decisions via market outlooks, price assessments, and operational analysis.

The role of Senior Analyst will involve regional leadership for Fibre Optic, Wire & Cable services across EMEA.

We are open to candidates within the 70-100k range and flexible regarding location across the UK.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Building market outlooks on the global Fibre Optic and EMEA metallic cable sectors using primary research networks and internal collaboration.
• Interacting with market participants to gain insights and assess price levels for bare fibres.
• Expanding the company profile through direct engagement with clients and stakeholders.
• Promoting content via conferences, industry engagement, media, government organizations, and site visits.
• Contributing to reports, presentations, insights, and webinars related to Wire & Cable products.
• Collaborating with global analysts to ensure comprehensive industry coverage.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong numeracy skills and data management capabilities to derive insights for decision-makers.
• Experience in engaging with market participants and presenting ideas confidently to senior stakeholders.
