Senior Reprographics Operator

Salary: £31,000 per annum + 5% shift allowance, plus company benefits

Opportunity for a 5% annual bonus based on performance and attendance.

Location: 100 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4JL

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Hours:40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 06:30-15:30 with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Flexibility of working hours is required to cover absences and annual leave.
Work Model: Fully onsite

Purpose of the Role:

The Senior Reprographics Operator plays a key role in delivering exceptional print and document services to our client, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency at every stage. Working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, this role involves both hands-on operation of high-speed reprographic and finishing equipment, as well as supporting team coordination and client service. The Senior Reprographics Operator also provides operational support through inventory management, supplier liaison, staff scheduling, and process oversight—serving as the main point of contact in the Team Leader’s absence. With a focus on quality, teamwork, and problem-solving, this role is central to maintaining high service standards and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Excellence and Development

  • Deliver high-quality document services using advanced reprographics and finishing equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.

  • Develop strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams across all shifts.

  • Promote exceptional customer service and act as a trusted advisor to clients on print production methods.

  • Champion the use of workflow management tools to maintain efficiency and service standards.

  • Take ownership of client-facing tasks, ensuring all deliverables meet agreed deadlines and expectations.

  • Support global management of the client’s MFD fleet across EMEA and APAC regions.

Team Support & People Development

  • Act as the first point of contact for staff and operational issues in the Team Leader’s absence.

  • Assist with managing team rotas, absence tracking, holidays, and timekeeping.

  • Support performance management, including mentoring team members and tracking productivity.

  • Help recruit and onboard new team members as required.

  • Ensure training programs are delivered effectively and documented appropriately.

  • Facilitate regular team meetings, preparing agendas and distributing meeting minutes.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture focused on high performance and service delivery.

  • Reinforce company and client policies, including:

    • Sickness and lateness procedures

    • Holiday approval processes

    • Internet usage and IT compliance

    • Health & safety protocols

    • Workflow and software tools usage (e.g., raising purchase orders)

Operational & Administrative Excellence

  • Prioritize work effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

  • Manage document requests through pre-booking systems and email, ensuring accurate job tickets.

  • Perform quality checks on all output, aiming for zero waste and rework.

  • Monitor and report equipment issues, escalate where necessary, and ensure resolution.

  • Keep reprographics areas clean, organized, and compliant with client and internal standards.

  • Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with ordering supplies in a timely manner.

  • Contribute to the monthly recharge process and assist in supplier management tasks.

  • Ensure all operational documentation remains current and site-specific.

Additional Information

  • Flexibility of working hours may be required to support planned and unplanned absences within a small on-site team.

  • Occasional support across different client sites or shifts may be requested.
