Job summary

Jobtailor in London is seeking a Senior Regulatory Reporting professional to lead Lloyd’s regulatory returns and data-driven reporting initiatives.

You will collaborate with auditors and senior stakeholders, driving data quality, governance and automated reporting across multiple syndicates. Strong SQL, Excel, Tableau or Power BI skills are required, plus Lloyd’s market experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Senior Reporting or Regulatory Reporting role within the Lloyd’s Insurance market (≤140 chars).
  • Strong hands-on experience providing Lloyd’s regulatory returns (≤140 chars).
  • Solid understanding of insurance financial reporting and regulatory frameworks (≤140 chars).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms (≤140 chars).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review Lloyd’s Regulatory Reports for multiple syndicates.
  • Reserving Return Quarterly.
  • Solvency UK return.
  • Terrorism (US, French, Australian, etc) reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s Principles, reporting guidance and timeliness of all reporting.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Lloyd’s, auditors and internal stakeholders on reporting matters.
  • Support the production of accurate financial data required for regulatory and internal reports.
  • Maintain and enhance reporting controls, documentation and audit trails.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, automation and data quality.
  • Provide support to colleagues and assist with enquiries.
  • Develop and produce ad hoc reports as required.
  • Produce and deliver accurate management information to the Management team daily/weekly/monthly.
  • Identify and highlight performance/service issues and trends

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review elements of Lloyd’s Regulatory Reports for multiple syndicates, including but not limited to Performance Management Data Return
  • Reserving Return Quarterly
  • Solvency UK return
  • Terrorism (US, French, Australian, etc)
  • Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s Principles, reporting guidance and timeliness of all reporting
  • Act as a key point of contact for Lloyd’s, auditors and internal stakeholders on reporting matters
  • Support the production of accurate financial data required for regulatory and internal reports
  • Maintain and enhance reporting controls, documentation and audit trails
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, automation and data quality alongside the Data & Governance Lead
  • Provide support to colleagues and assist with enquiries
  • Develop and produce ad hoc reports as required
  • Produce and deliver accurate, complete and appropriate management information to the Management team in a timely manner on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis or as required
  • Identify and highlight performance/service issues and trends
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Senior Reporting or Regulatory Reporting role within the Lloyd’s Insurance market
  • Strong hands-on experience providing Lloyd’s regulatory returns
  • Solid understanding of insurance financial reporting and regulatory frameworks
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with data governance, data management, and regulatory requirements related to reporting
  • Ability to analyse and understand data, shape into insightful data
  • Familiarity with Data Warehouse concepts, Lloyd’s Policy Administration Systems and end-to-end processing in the Lloyd’s market
  • Communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data findings to stakeholders
  • Attention to detail, ability to work with large datasets, and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Proactive solution oriented and comfortable challenging data and assumptions
  • Team player with mentoring capability
