About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Infrastructure Investor team as a Senior Reporter in our London office! The senior reporter will play a key part – together with Infrastructure Investor’s Deputy Editor and Editor-in-Chief – in driving our EMEA coverage across all formats. The role enjoys a good degree of autonomy, with the person performing it expected to take the lead in generating story ideas, features, and more, based on a strong contact book. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key industry players is crucial, as is leveraging those relationships to produce exclusive, proprietary content unavailable elsewhere.
Responsibilities and duties
- Write and post news, features, op-eds, and multimedia items regularly.
- Pitch content ideas and monitor the latest trends and developments in the asset class.
- Generate exclusive and proprietary content consistently.
- Assist with curating content hubs and newsletter send-outs.
- Host, transcribe, and write roundtables.
- Interact constantly with the market, maintain existing sources, develop new contacts, and cultivate stories.
- Ensure optimal use of data, collaborating closely with Research & Analytics when appropriate.
- Collaborate with the PEI Events team and moderate discussions at company-hosted events when suitable.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience in journalism or related field

- Understanding of print and digital journalism approaches
- Skill in translating complex data into accessible content
