Are you an experienced leader with a proven track record in managing contracts, teams, and delivering high-quality housing repairs and maintenance services? This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role within a forward-thinking local authority in the Midlands.

We are seeking a Senior Repairs, Maintenance and Contracts Manager who can bring energy, expertise, and vision to drive performance, ensure value for money, and deliver a truly customer-focused service.

What you'll be doing
  • Leading and managing repairs teams, supervisors, operatives, and contractors.
  • Driving continuous improvement across emergency, urgent, and planned maintenance works.
  • Managing performance and budgets to deliver efficiency, quality, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Promoting innovation, strong partnership working, and a “One Team” culture.
  • Handling contractor relationships, complaints resolution, and service delivery improvements.
What we're looking for
  • A qualified professional (Level 4 or equivalent in management/leadership) with at least 5 years' experience in building, technical, supervisory or management roles.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Solid experience in contract and budget management within housing or construction.
  • Knowledge of current building legislation, Health & Safety, and best practice in service delivery.
  • A flexible, customer-focused approach, with the drive to deliver excellence.
