Job summary

The Senior Renal Technologist at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust will provide specialist technical support across renal services, including maintenance, fault finding and planned servicing of dialysis machines, water treatment systems and associated medical equipment.

You will monitor water quality, support home dialysis patients, provide technical advice and training, and contribute to equipment safety, risk management and service improvements while deputising for the Technical Manager

Qualifications

• Experience with heamodialysis & associated equipment.
• Strong knowledge of renal water treatment systems.
• Experience of medical device safety testing.
• Ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, fault-find and service dialysis machines and water systems.
• Monitor water quality and support home dialysis.
• Provide technical advice and training; lead within the technical team.
• Participate in 24-hour on-call service and deputise for Technical Manager.
