Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Renal Technologist to provide expert technical support across renal services, including maintenance and fault-finding of dialysis machines and water treatment systems. You will monitor water quality and assist home dialysis patients while training junior staff.

The role requires experience with renal equipment, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to lead within a technical team, including 24-hour on-call duties and potential deputising

Competenze

• Experience with hemodialysis equipment and water treatment systems.
• Knowledge of equipment safety testing and regulatory standards.
• Ability to train colleagues and work under pressure.

Mansioni

• Provide specialist technical support across renal services, including maintenance, fault finding and planned servicing of dialysis machines, water treatment systems and associated medical equipment.
• Monitor water quality, support home dialysis patients, provide technical advice and training, and contribute to equipment safety and service improvements.
• Play a leading role within the technical team, support junior colleagues, participate in the 24-hour on-call service and deputise for the Technical Manager when required.
