Senior Relationship Banker

The Senior Relationship Banker manages customer service, relationships, and sales, while meeting performance goals. They utilize bank standards and product knowledge to develop customer relationships through the following functions:

Operational Effectiveness
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of bank products, services, policies, and compliance issues.
  • Deepen customer relationships by discussing financial needs and making referrals.
  • Meet and exceed performance goals, participate in incentive programs and business initiatives.
  • Process transactions accurately, including deposits, payments, wire transfers, and issuing checks.
  • Verify transactions, manage cash drawer, and balance cash at shift end.
  • Open new accounts and assist customers with account information and paperwork.
  • Assist with ATM issues and balancing procedures.
  • Perform vault duties, oversee cash handling, and ensure security protocols.
  • Maintain confidentiality and assist with audits.
  • Mentor new Relationship Bankers and oversee branch operations in absence of manager.
Customer Focus
  • Provide superior customer service.
  • Participate in community activities to promote the bank.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years retail/customer service experience, preferably in banking.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications.
  • Basic math skills, detail-oriented, organized.
  • Strong communication skills, team player, flexible with work hours.
