As an experienced Reinsurance Technician, this is an ideal opportunity for you to utilise your knowledge and assist colleagues.

You will play a crucial role in managing and calculating pro-rata allocations for various reinsurance contracts, including XOL, Treaty, or Facultative portfolios.

You will maintain strong relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets, understanding issues, resolving problems, and queries.

This is a hybrid role allowing work from both home and office.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing client support activities, including governance and compliance.
• Calculating and allocating pro-rata premiums and claims for reinsurance contracts.
• Supporting, assisting, and guiding less experienced colleagues, including leading training sessions.

Requirements for success:

• Strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts, including treaty and facultative, proportional and non-proportional structures.
• Client management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• A positive attitude and solution-oriented approach.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and resolve discrepancies.
