LOCATION: London

Purpose:

• Managing a diverse portfolio of reinsurance claims across multiple lines including motor, property & casualty, life, and credit & surety.
• Liaising with brokers and clients, handling complex queries and disputes.
• Conducting file reviews, audits (including travel), and legal teams to provide insights and strategic claims updates.
• Attending settlement meetings, legal conferences, and market forums.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of reinsurance claims handling experience (UK Motor experience is essential).
• Confident communicator with strong analytical and commercial judgement.
• Comfortable with external-facing responsibilities like client audits and relationship management.
• Legal or insurance qualifications (Cert CII / DIP CII / ACII / Solicitor / ILEX) are advantageous.
• German language skills are a plus, but not required.
