Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. The organization provides acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a shift pattern from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.

Requirements:
  • Work as part of a team responsible for the delivery and repair of wheelchairs within the West of Scotland.
  • Possess an HNC in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent, or an ONC with three years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in an engineering environment, with good knowledge of engineering practices and materials.
  • Knowledge of wheelchair repairs is advantageous.
  • Hold a full driving license.
  • Good time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
