Job description
Overview

Band 4 Senior Rehabilitation Assistant, North Manchester General Hospital (NMGH).

This post will mainly be based at The Frailty Unit, but will require the post holder to support the other acute site therapy teams as required.

The successful candidate will need to have the appropriate qualifications and experience to work as a Band 4 Rehabilitation Assistant on The Frailty Unit at NMGH.

This post provides the opportunity for some autonomy within your role, whilst still working closely with Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy colleagues.

The Frailty Unit is a specialist centre based within the grounds of the NMGH site. Clinical duties start with assessment and management of patients from admission to the unit, and include progression of patients towards a timely and appropriate discharge - including the identification of, and referral for, post-discharge therapy input as required.
