Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified with BSc/BEng in Mechanical/ Rehabilitation Engineering or related field
• Registered with the Register of Clinical Technologists or HCPC
• Extensive wheelchair and specialised seating experience
• Experience casting for bespoke seating
• Experience working in a Quality Management System

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and carers to determine needs and goals for seating
• Take body measurements to match equipment and seating
• Lead special seating assessments and prescriptions
• Oversee manufacture and adjustments of equipment
• Ensure MHRA guidelines are followed in seating service
