Inspire Neurocare in Farnborough, Hampshire, is seeking a Senior Rehab Assistant to support adults with complex neurological conditions and brain injuries to achieve independence and progress toward personal goals.

This hands-on, person-centred role involves assisting with daily living, rehabilitation activities and participation in social and therapy sessions, while coordinating with families and the multidisciplinary team. 39.375 hours per week; DBS, pension, and uniform provided.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Experience in complex care or related healthcare setting
• Good understanding of rehabilitation principles

Fernhill Neurological Centre is a purpose-built specialist neurological care and rehabilitation centre in Farnborough, Hampshire. Supporting adults with complex neurological conditions and injuries, the centre provides personalised rehabilitation and long-term care focused on promoting independence and quality of life. With modern facilities, dedicated therapy spaces and a large physiotherapy gym, colleagues work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to make a meaningful difference to the people we support.

Senior Rehab Assistant Contract

• £30,640.59 per annum
• 39.375 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension and uniform provided
• 28 days annual leave (pro rata for part time), inclusive of Bank Holidays
• Employee Assistance Programme, occupational health support and wellbeing services
• Refer a Friend Bonus – up to £750 per referral (nurse & carer roles only)

Role Overview

As a Senior Rehab Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting adults with complex neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries to achieve greater independence and make progress towards their individual goals.

This is a hands-on, person-centred role where you will support people with their daily lives while encouraging participation in rehabilitation, therapy and social activities. You will take the time to understand each person's goals, preferences and needs, providing care and support in a way that promotes their independence and quality of life.

You will support personal care where required, provide emotional support and companionship, and work closely with residents, their families and the wider multidisciplinary team. You will follow individual care and rehabilitation plans and encourage people to take an active role in their own progress.

As a senior member of the team, you will bring your experience and knowledge to support high standards of care and rehabilitation, while working positively with colleagues across the service.

Every person will have different needs and goals, making this a varied role where you can use your experience to make a meaningful difference to the people we support.

What We Are Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working in complex care or a related healthcare setting
• Good understanding of rehabilitation principles
• Experience supporting people with complex needs and promoting independence
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate, patient and person-centred approach
• Ability to encourage and motivate people while respecting their choices and preferences
• Reliable, proactive and confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team
