Senior C# Software Engineer (Regulatory Reporting) - Commodities Trading - London - up to £800/day

Cititec has partnered with a leading commodities trading firm seeking a Senior C# Software Engineer to join their regulatory reporting team. This role involves leading major change projects across Gas and Power businesses, focusing on EMIR Refit and MiFID II compliance.

The position is highly technical, primarily dedicated to regulatory transformation efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust solutions for accurate and compliant reporting systems.

Experience required:

• Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., EMIR, MiFID)
• Experience working in Gas and Power trading environments
• Knowledge of end-to-end transaction reporting processes (UTIs, eligibility checks, report submissions)
• Ability to develop and maintain Oracle SQL and C# applications for regulatory change programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
