Senior C# Software Engineer (Regulatory Reporting) - Commodities Trading - Leicester - up to £800/day

Cititec has partnered with a leading commodities trading firm seeking a Senior C# Software Engineer to join their regulatory reporting team. You will lead major change projects across Gas and Power, including EMIR Refit and MiFID II.

This role is highly technical, focusing on regulatory transformation. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for accurate, compliant reporting systems.

Experience required

• Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting frameworks like EMIR, MiFID
• Experience in Gas and Power trading environments
• Knowledge of transaction reporting processes (UTIs, eligibility checks, report submissions)
• Ability to develop and maintain Oracle SQL / C# applications for regulatory changes
• Excellent communication skills
