Senior C# Software Engineer (Regulatory Reporting) - Commodities Trading - London - up to £800/day

Cititec has partnered with a leading commodities trading firm seeking a Senior C# Software Engineer to join their regulatory reporting team. You will lead major change projects across Gas and Power businesses, focusing on EMIR Refit and MiFID II compliance.

This is a technical role, primarily involved in regulatory transformation efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions ensuring accurate and compliant reporting systems.

Experience required

• Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting frameworks such as EMIR, MiFID, or similar
• Experience working in Gas and Power trading environments
• Knowledge of transaction reporting processes (UTIs, eligibility checks, report submissions)
• Ability to develop and maintain Oracle SQL and C# applications for regulatory change programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
