Job summary

Ofwat in London/Birmingham is seeking a Senior Associate Water Supply Technical Specialist to join the Water Quality, Resilience and Security sub-team within the RAPID and Environmental Planning Directorate. You will work on oversight of water company performance, price control deliverables, and data analysis across the water supply chain.

The role suits engineers or environmental scientists with experience in water or asset management, capable of engaging with companies, developing benchmarking

Qualifications

• Background in engineering, water or environmental science, or operational/asset management.

Responsibilities

• Assess Company Delivery Plans, Price Control Deliverables and APR data to oversee company performance.
• Engage with water companies through the large scheme process to support cost-effective delivery of schemes on time and budget.
• Assess information for cost change processes and develop benchmarking models.
• Contribute to development of the next price review framework and respond to costing questions related to water quality, resilience, and security.
