Job summary

Farfetch is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel - Regulatory in London to partner with the business on complex regulatory and commercial matters. The role emphasizes payments regulation, international compliance, and proactive risk management across a global platform.

You will advise internal teams, draft and negotiate contracts, and liaise with external law firms while supporting the Group Legal VP and Regulatory Team. A strong analytical mindset and commercial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' PQE with a strong background in regulatory and commercial law.
• Experience advising on payments regulation and digital regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in in-house or multi-jurisdictional law practice is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Advise on payment regulation, digital regulation, product compliance and consumer protection.
• Track regulatory changes affecting Farfetch and advise on implementation.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory risks and enforcement trends, with proactive steps.
• Develop engagement strategies with regulators and manage commercial contracts and policies.
• Provide strategic, pragmatic legal advice and liaise with external counsel as needed.
• Support Group Legal VP and Regulatory Team to ensure compliant operations.
• Use legal tech and AI tools responsibly to deliver efficient advice.
