Job summary

HW Finance is partnering with a leading financial services organization to recruit a Senior Compliance Policy Consultant into their Group Risk function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced compliance professional or financial advice specialist looking to broaden their exposure within a second-line compliance environment.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll interpret regulatory change, provide expert guidance on FCA regulation, and help drive positive customer

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of FCA regulation, including Consumer Duty and Conduct of Business rules.
• Background in Compliance, Risk, Financial Advice, or a related regulatory environment.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and provide pragmatic, commercial guidance.
• Strong analytical, communication and report-writing abilities.
• Professional compliance qualifications or financial advice qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert oversight, advice and constructive challenge on regulatory compliance matters.
• Interpret and communicate regulatory developments, particularly within financial advice and FCA regulation.
• Support the implementation of regulatory change programmes and business initiatives.
• Act as a subject matter expert for complex regulatory queries.
• Influence and support the development of effective conduct risk frameworks and controls.
• Build strong relationships across risk, compliance and operational teams.
