What does the role involve?

Reporting to the Senior Regulatory Business Partner, as a Senior Regulatory Adviser you'll provide advice to Novuna's Vehicle Solutions and Business Finance divisions. You'll use your expertise to guide the business units on complex regulatory requirements and ensure that regulatory and legislative changes are assessed for impact; ensuring that compliant outcomes are reached. This role can be based from our Staines or Newbury office on a hybrid working pattern.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide innovative solutions to complex business and technical regulatory challenges
• Horizon scanning, ensuring the business keeps pace with regulatory and market changes
• Reviewing policies and procedures on regulatory projects and provide regulatory advice
• Creating suitable controls and rulebooks for products and services, ensuring everything is suitably documented

What are we looking for?

You'll be a pragmatic and commercially minded individual with a proven track record in a compliance role. You'll be up to speed with the latest UK financial services industry news, with goodknowledge of FCA regulations and frameworks and relevant legislation, rules and guidance.

Also, we're looking for the following:

• Highly skilled at providing advice on relevant legislation, rules and guidance
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the drive to collaborate to deliver solutions
• Ability to think operationally and strategically to make sound commercial business decisions
• Good understanding of legislation and regulations, ideally with an understanding of how these relate to credit and leasing finance products
