Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking a Senior Regression Test Engineer in Whiteley, Hampshire, offering a hybrid working pattern and eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC). You will test complex systems, plan, execute and improve testing activities across a large-scale integration programme.

You will work with engineers, suppliers and customer stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions, analysing results, investigating defects and supporting issue resolution while contributing to automated regression

Qualifications

• Software testing, integration testing, or systems engineering.
• Creating and executing test cases from requirements or design documentation.
• Functional, non-functional, integration, or regression testing.
• Investigating issues and supporting defect resolution.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• ISTQB Foundation (or equivalent) certification is beneficial but not essential.
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Help Deliver Mission-Critical Systems

We're looking for a Senior Regression Test Engineer to join our team in Whiteley. You'll play a key role in testing complex systems, ensuring new solutions integrate successfully and perform as expected.

Working closely with engineers, suppliers, and customer stakeholders, you'll help deliver high-quality solutions by planning, executing, and improving testing activities across a large-scale systems integration programme.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Creating and executing test cases from requirements or design documentation.
• Functional, non-functional, integration, or regression testing.
• Working on projects involving multiple systems, suppliers, or third-party integrations.
• Investigating issues and supporting defect resolution.
• Analysing data and test evidence to validate system behaviour.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• The ability to manage your own workload and work effectively within a team.
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• ISTQB Foundation (or equivalent) certification is beneficial but not essential.

Desirable Skills

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

• Test automation and automated regression testing.
• API, interface, or message-based testing.
• Network, infrastructure, or environment testing.
• Agile, DevOps, or Continuous Integration practices.
• SQL, data analysis, or log analysis tools.
• Working within secure or highly regulated environments.
• Supporting large-scale systems integration or transformation programmes.

Pay Range

£47,600.00-£61,000.00
