Job Overview

This position can be based at HM Prison Coldingley Woking, GU24 9EX; HM Prison Ford Arundel, BN18 0BX; HM Prison Maidstone, ME14 1UZ; HM Prison Rochester, ME1 3QS; or HM Prison Standford Hill Sheerness, ME12 4AA. The successful candidate will provide delivery, management, and supervisory services across the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex prison sites, including diverse functions such as risk assessment, intervention, consultancy, and research, mainly with offenders in custody but also in community settings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessment, intervention, and support to prisoners and staff.
  • Manage and supervise psychological services across multiple sites.
  • Engage in research and consultancy work related to offender mental health.
Person Specification
  • Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
  • Eligible to use a protected title.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
