Job summary

Horder Healthcare is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to lead the orthopaedic/inpatient team on Dufferin Ward at The Horder Centre in Crowborough. This hands-on leadership role requires clinical excellence, mentorship, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

You will supervise shifts, support the Ward Sister, and drive governance, audits, and service development in a supportive, award-winning environment. The role offers full-time hours with day, night, weekend, and bank holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration and at least 2 years post‑registration experience.
• UK-based orthopaedic or surgical nursing experience is highly desirable.
• Mentorship/PS/PA qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team, prioritise workloads, and manage shift operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills supporting patients and colleagues.
• Commitment to patient‑centred care and service development.

• Role involves shift work (days/nights/weekends/bank holidays) in an inpatient ward.
